When you use Planabar’s planning session, we collect the information needed to build your Event Sheet, Purchase List, and Digital Menu — including your name, email address, wedding date, venue, guest count, and drink preferences.
We do not require an account, a password, or payment information to use Planabar’s free planning tool.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
Generate your Event Sheet, Purchase List, and Digital Menu
Send your completed documents to your email
Forward your documents to your bartending service or planner, if you choose that option
Populate known details (such as house rules or bar policies) if your venue is in our partner venue database
What We Don’t Do
We never sell your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information to third parties.
We never charge couples to use Planabar’s planning tool.
How We Generate Revenue
Planabar is free for couples because we generate revenue through partnerships with venues, planners, and vendors — not by charging the people planning the wedding. This may include:
Aggregated, anonymized insights (such as regional drink preference trends) shared with venue or vendor partners, containing no names, emails, or other identifying information
Paid partnerships with venues and planners for tools, integrations, or data services
Brand partnerships that may appear as part of a couple’s planning experience in the future, always clearly identified as such
